Awesome Agent and Summer Dancin'

Have you been to Mary Kole’s blog yet? She's an assistant agent for the Andrea Brown Literary Agency. (Oh man! Now I've got that secret agent song stuck in my head!)

If you haven’t, you’ve gotta check it out! I’ve been reading her past blog posts (Yeah! That good.)

If you don’t know who she is, take a look at my personal blog post from Writing for Young Readers. She is the one at the end of the dance throwing the papers in the air.

She has excellent advice (and when I say excellent, I mean super tremendous) and she can dance! Check it out, you won’t be sorry.

Sorry this post is so short…I’m dancing in the kitchen with Jack Johnson (okay, not him, just his music) this afternoon. Hooray for the beginning of summer!

Oh and btw, what are your summer writing goals and how do you keep them? I’d really like to know!

I do not follow her yet so as soon as I'm done with this comment I'll hop on over to see what's happening in her neck of the woods.

As far as summer writing I have kept the goals minimal. I'd love to complete my first draft of Stella's Story, revise a little of the Travelers (working on getting the structure right) followed by writing a little something for the Collector...

How do I plan on keeping them?? By the Grace of God! LOL

I love Mary's blog. I hate summer. And Jack Johnson is okay:)

My goal is to write as much as I can every day. Even if all it amounts to is my blog.

My writing goal for the summer is to morph a 30,000 half book I wrote 12 years ago into a 55,000 whole book--and submit it by Sept. 27th. Woo hoo!

I've been reading the Kidlit blog for awhile - so much good information. It was fun to meet and listen to her in person. She's also a great dancer.

Hadn't checked her blog out-but totally on my way now! Thanks for sharing!! And my summer goal? To write THE END on this first draft - and still have time to work on a couple short stories :)

LOVE Mary Kole and her blog. So glad you had a great time, and got to know her. :o)

My writing goals are to get my new YA book in presentable form for my betas.

Have a great weekend!
